Replacement UPVC Door Handles
You can find the perfect handle for your door, whether replacing your existing handles or adding extra security. The Upvc handles are simple to install and will meet the minimum 92mm center distance of multipoint locks.
The most important measurements to be considered are backplate fixing centres as well as lever/key hole dimensions. Check these carefully against your existing marks before ordering.
Lever/Pad

It is important to ensure that when you choose the new set of upvc lever pad handles, they are in line with the PZ (distance from the handle spindle to the centre of the hole in the cylinder) of your multipoint door locks. This is because they are required to be aligned for the doors to stay locked, whether you are viewing them from the inside or outside. The handles we sell are designed to work with a variety of conventional cylinder locks, however you should double-check prior to purchasing.
If you want to upgrade to dual spindle levers you will need to remove the handles you have already installed and disassemble the lock case. This will require an extra split cylinder inline. You can purchase these separately. We have included a technical diagram in the images of each product.
Once you have removed the screws that are holding your existing door handle it is recommended to loosen them and inspect the mechanism to determine the condition it is in. If the screws are too tight it is possible to loosen them more. Then, you can remove the spindle from the door handle and replace it with your new upvc handle. Before putting the handle in the frame, it is a good idea to make sure it is in the proper position, and you can do this by putting your finger in the space between the door frame and the door handle to ensure that it is in a level position.
Lever/Lever
The lever door handles are used to operate a multi-point lock with a Euro cylinder. check here can be found on many upvc double doors, as well as on some wooden and aluminium doors. They have an inside lever and an outside paddle and are usually supplied in two types. Sprung - these have a spring cassette fitted inside the backplate to bring the handle lever into the horizontal position. It could also be that the levers have not been operated at a right angle, which causes compression of the latch mechanism and stops it from fully springing into operation.

Lever/Snib
